Dana is a postdoctoral researcher at the RAAS Division and an Adjunct Professor at the Università degli Studi di Padova. She holds a PhD in Institutions, Markets, and Technologies from the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, as well as a Joint Master’s Degree in Techniques, Patrimoine, Territoires de l’Industrie (TPTI) from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Università degli Studi di Padova, and Universidade de Évora.

Her current research explores disaster risk management, climate change adaptation, resilience financing, and nature-based solutions (NbS). Her broader research interests encompass the legal protection and governance of agricultural landscapes, the role of agri-food geographical indications in rural development, the vulnerability of mountain agricultural landscapes, and the analysis of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and Rural Development Programmes (RDP). Before joining CMCC, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Università di Padova and IUAV and collaborated with international organisations such as UNESCO’s World Heritage Centre and the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV).
