Linhai Wang is a PhD candidate in Atmospheric Science at Sun Yat-sen University and a visiting doctoral researcher at the University of Bologna. His research focuses on marine heatwaves, satellite sea surface temperature reconstruction, and artificial intelligence applications in ocean remote sensing. His current work develops AI-based methods to reconstruct cloud-obscured Level-3 (L3) sea surface temperature observations and investigates the variability and evolution of marine heatwaves in South China Sea.
