The PhD program in “Future Earth, Climate Change and Societal Challenges” is designed to train the next generation of researchers and professionals to address the complex challenges at the intersection of climate change, environmental transformation, and societal adaptation. The programme provides an advanced research environment, fostering collaboration between leading institutions and offering access to state-of-the-art facilities and international networks.

For the 2026/2027 academic year, the CMCC Foundation contributes with two PhD scholarships within the programme, supporting advanced research on climate change and environmental transformations.
