The CMCC is taking into consideration the possibility to hire a talented, motivated and proactive person that will be responsible of the eddy covariance and meteorological data processing in the context of the ICOS Ecosystem Thematic Centre.
The location is CMCC office in Viterbo (Italy) c/o the University of Tuscia.
The primary purposes for this position is to be responsible of the eddy covariance data quality control, processing and formatting. Activities will include also development and test of routines, interaction with the station teams, test of new instruments and methods and interaction with the ICOS Carbon Portal.
The desired qualifications are:
- Master degree in scientific disciplines
- Knowledge of the eddy covariance technique
- Knowledge of English
- Positively evaluated also the knowledge of the EddyPro software and the knowledge of a programming language
Belonging to legally protected categories (ex L. 68/99) will constitute a preferential condition.
The initial appointment is for 12months full time starting from 1 May 2019 or as soon as filled at an annual salary ranging from 25 to 30K Euros, comprehensive of benefits, depending on qualification and experience.
