The Archaeosafe project will organize a cross-border conference in Italy, hosted and coordinated by CMCC, dedicated to the protection of cultural and archaeological heritage from climate-related risks, with a particular focus on coastal erosion and other hazards affecting the Adriatic-Ionian region.
Bringing together academics and researchers, cultural heritage managers, public authorities, emergency response agencies, and technology developers, the conference will promote knowledge exchange and strengthen cross-border cooperation. Dedicated sessions will address scientific advances, practical risk-mitigation strategies, policy and emergency response, and innovative technologies.
