This course is organized in collaboration between OGS, Trieste University, ITCP, CNR and CMCC.
It aims at proving some basis and highlights about glaciological processes of importance for the present-day and past cryosphere evolution, including mountain glacier, ice cap and ice sheets. The course will deal with paleo data reconstructions, present-day observations and numerical models as tool to reconstruct the continental cryosphere dynamical systems.
