CMCC joins EXPANDEO, the European Association of Remote Sensing Companies (EARSC)’s annual event, where the market meets, provides a key platform for European Earth Observation companies, institutional actors and various other stakeholders to interact and network, learn about current policies and their impact on the industry, as well as reflect on challenges and explore new horizons.

Manuela Balzarolo, CMCC researcher, was invited to join the panel Beyond 2030: shaping the future of sustainable development, to discuss the role of Earth Observation in monitoring progress, data-driven policymaking, and national reporting. Key stakeholders will discuss the impact of EO on SDG tracking, existing data challenges, and integration into post-2030 sustainability frameworks. The session will also address barriers to data harmonization, institutional collaboration, and technology adoption.
