Graphic Design Principles for Scientists

28 September h.13:00 pm CEST | LINK ZOOM

Francesco Fiondella, director of communications at Columbia University’s International Research Institute for Climate and Society (IRI)

When we talk about improving our science communications skills, we often focus on writing. That makes sense, since scientists spend a great deal of time writing – papers, proposals, emails, emails, emails!
But scientists (and science students) also learn, teach and communicate through presentations, posters, data visualizations and other visual-centric means.
In this webinar you’ll learn about a number of simple-but-critical design and layout principles to help make your visual communications clearer, more engaging and have more impact with your audiences.
Expect to see lots of examples!

The webinar will be introduced and moderated by Alessandra Mazzai, communication officer, CMCC Foundation – Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change
