The Open Hour webinar, hosted by the IPCC Focal Point for Italy, will explain how to register as an IPCC Expert Reviewer and provide guidance on effective participation. To facilitate participation and clarify the expert review process, the webinar will provide an overview of the structure and scope of the Methodology Report, practical guidance on submitting review comments, and clarification of the role and expectations of Expert Reviewers.

Participating in the expert review allows reviewers to contribute directly to the scientific robustness of this key IPCC methodology product, support a rigorous and transparent framework for estimating and reporting greenhouse gas emissions and removals associated with carbon dioxide removal and carbon capture, utilization and storage, and engage with an international community of experts contributing to climate policy-relevant science.
