Domenico is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Risk Assessment and Adaptation Strategies (RAAS) Division where he applies econometric methods and composite indicator frameworks to analyse the socio-economic consequences of climate change. A political scientist by background, he holds a PhD in Science and Management of Climate Change from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. He has gained extensive international experience in both academic and policy-oriented settings, collaborating with interdisciplinary research teams and institutional partners across Europe and beyond. His research focuses on assessing the impacts of climate change on complex natural systems, particularly within the climate–agriculture–food nexus, and examining their broader socio-economic implications, including food insecurity and human mobility.
