Gea Grassi is a post-master researcher at the RAAS (Risk Assessment and Adaptation Strategies) Division of CMCC where she works within the BlueGreenGovernance (BGG) and TRANSEATION projects.
She holds a Master’s degree in “Environmental Science – Global Change and Sustainability” from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. Her MSc thesis explored the use of strategic foresight analysis and generative AI to assess climate change impacts on the land-sea interface and develop innovative governance frameworks that integrate scientific evidence and societal values to address coastal management.
Gea previously collaborated with the CMCC – RAAS Division during her Bachelor’s thesis, which focused on assessing seagrass status and ecosystem services in the Mediterranean region, as part of the MaCoBios project.
Throughout her previous experiences, she has contributed to various projects focused on climate change adaptation, science communication, and education.
