Harrison Sandy P.

Sandy P. Harrison, Professor of Global Palaeoclimates and Biogeochemical Cycles at the University of Reading, was appointed Bassi Fellow with a residency from February to March 2026 at the Milano office.

Dr. Harrison specializes in reconstructing past climates and ecosystems and is internationally recognized for contributions to global change science and Earth system modelling. Her fellowship focuses on the development of eco-evolutionary optimality models of vegetation function to couple within the framework of land surface models.
