Katie Johnson is a researcher at the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC), Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, and the European Institute on Economics and the Environment (EIEE). She obtained her PhD in Science and Management of Climate Change at Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia, and holds a MA in Climate and Society from Columbia University and a BA in Environmental Analysis and Policy from Boston University.
Katie’s research background and primary research interests include urban aspects of climate change, and impacts and adaptations in coastal areas. She has conducted research at both the Center for Climate Systems Research and the Columbia Water Center at The Earth Institute in New York City, and at FEEM in Venice.
At CMCC@Ca’Foscari, Katie is a researcher in the Economic Analysis of Climate Impacts and Policies Division, and is also involved in the communication and dissemination of research in the CMCC Communications Department.
