Martina Marian (Degree in Economics at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Italy, 2001) is currently division manager of the Economic Climate Impacts and Policy Division (ECIP) at the Fondazione CMCC “Euro-Mediterranean Centre for Climate Change”, where she is project manager of several national and European projects. She is staff member of CMCC@Ca’Foscari, the CMCC office based in Venice with the support of Ca’Foscari University of Venice.
She is founding member of the Italian Society for Climate Sciences, where she is secretary general from 2013.
Dr. Marian was staff member of the European Projects Office at Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM) from 2001 to 2107, where she was head of the Fund raising office from 2008 and project manager of the International Center for Climate Governance from 2010.
Other previous positions include:
i) Lecturer of Economics at Faculty of Economics and at Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literature of the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (2002-2009);
ii) Project Manager at the Center for Environmental Economics and Management of the Department of Economics, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (2001-2008).
iii) Programme Manager of the Sustainable Indicator and Economic Valuation Research Programme at FEEM (2006-2008);
iv) Member of European Projects Office at FEEM and Project Manager of research projects at local, national and international level (2001-2005).
