Alice Puppin is a postdoctoral researcher in the RAAS (Risk Assessment and Adaptation Strategies) department at CMCC.
She holds a PhD in Geosciences from the University of Padova and a degree in Environmental Sciences from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. Her current research at CMCC addresses environmental and governance analyses to assess the effectiveness of adaptation strategies and nature-based solutions in coastal socio-ecological systems.
Before joining CMCC, she worked at the University of Padova on coastal wetland ecomorphodynamics and blue carbon potential, with a focus on their responses to climate change and other human-driven pressures. In addition to her academic work, she has gained experience in both the private and public sectors in environmental assessment and management.
