In 2017, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Torino. Following two years of experience in the private sector as a Mobile and Web Developer, he joined the Italian Institute of Polar Sciences as a Research Fellow. In this role, he served as Software Developer, System Administrator, and Data Manager, overseeing the development and maintenance of the Italian Arctic and Antarctic Data Centers. He designed and developed the integrated management system for the Italian Arctic Base “Dirigibile Italia”, a complex platform handling the full operational lifecycle of the base. He also designed and released an open-source Content Management System for the data management platform ERDDAP. Throughout his tenure, he actively contributed to several international project working groups, including SIOS Data Management System, ENVRI-FAIR, and POLARIN. His work on the Italian Arctic and Antarctic Data Centers was recognised at the Polar Data Forum IV, where he was awarded a prize by the Standing Committee on Antarctic Data Management (SCADM). From January 2026 he works as Web Developer for Scientific Data Platforms at CMCC’s REMHI Division.
