This report introduces the support offered by the Ophidia framework to handle data represented as bit arrays. It extends the description of MySQL plugins reported in a previous paper. Some examples of SQL query using to the proposed user defined functions for MySQL are presented and some interesting use cases related to these functions are also discussed.
