The Future Earth Research School (FERS) is an international school focused on environmental sustainability and climate change. FERS offers a strategic overview on how to model our climate system and deal with future global challenges, building a fertile ground for innovation and new research pathways.
FERS was established as a three-year advanced training project in the cultural, economic, and technological fields, co-funded by the Emilia-Romagna Region (2022-2024). It is now a permanent initiative of the Advanced Training and Education Center (ATEC) of CMCC Foundation, and it is steered by a scientific committee of international high-level academics.
The School offers a unique opportunity for the most promising up-and-coming researchers and professionals to work together and share experiences on different aspects of research while maintaining a global and multidisciplinary approach.
