CMCC Foundation featured again as one of the best center for climate research in the special annual ranking realized by the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program of the University of Pennsylvania.

Its name is Global Go To Think Tank Index (GGTTTI) and is a ranking that by using specific indicators and characteristics maintains a database of over 6,500 think tanks from all over the world while realizing a classification by categories, geographic regions, issues.

The 9th edition of the Global Go To Think Tank Index, a report realized by the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program of the University of Pennsylvania, was published with the contributions of over 1,900 peer institutions and experts from the print and electronic media, academia, public and private donor institutions, and governments around the world.

The ranking features the CMCC Foundation as one of the top think tanks worldwide, one of the best top environment policy think tank and as one of the best indepedent think tanks (see tables 2, 3, 18, and 48 of the report). More in detail, in the last three years the CMCC Foundation featured in the top think tanks worldwide (non-U.S.) classification while ranking second among the Italian institutions.
This result represents an important recognition of CMCC’s work in Italy and at the international level.
