Master in Scientific Programming: applications are now open

A Master’s Programme that trains the new professional figure needed in any scientific computing team, capable of mastering the most modern computational tools using informatics expertise. Applications are open for the Master in Scientific Programming 2022/2023 organized by the University of Salento in collaboration with the CMCC Foundation. An opportunity to confront the challenges of numerical modeling and parallel computing also in the field of climate change, ecosystems and biodiversity studies. 

The II Level Master’s Programme in Scientific Programming at the University of Salento – Department of Innovation Engineering aims to train the professional figure of a scientific programmer.

Led by Italo Epicoco, director of the CMCC division ‘Advanced Scientific Computing’ and researcher at Department of Engineering for Innovation at University of Salento, the Master’s programme will offer the opportunity to confront the challenges of numerical modeling and parallel computing in the field of climate change, ecosystem and biodiversity studies, interacting with prestigious national and international research centers.

The lectures will be held between November 2022 and October 2023 via Microsoft Teams.

Ten scholarships are provided by the CMCC Foundation – Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change.

Applications are welcome until September 30, 1 p.m.
