A video tutorial on VISIR, the ship routing system design and developed by the TESSA project is now available.
The system provides optimized nautical routes in the Mediterranean Sea while taking into account the safety of navigation.
The user can specify departure and arrival place, departure time and vessel and other parameters.
The computation of the routes depends on model forecast of sea-state.
The video presents step by step how VISIR works and how route requests can be submitted and displayed on a map.
