Elisabetta Dall’Ò, PhD in Cultural and Social Anthropology (University of Milano-Bicocca, 2018), is an Associate Scientist at the BAE unit of the CMCC Foundation.
She holds the National Scientific Qualification (ASN) as an Associate Professor. Since 2021, she has been an adjunct professor at the Polytechnic University of Turin, and leads the course in Communication and Therapeutic Education at the University of Turin’s School of Medicine.
Since 2014, her research has focused on the social and cultural impacts of climate change. As a post-doctoral research fellow, she has conducted ethnographic research on risk perception, eco-anxiety, and climate adaptation in Alpine and educational contexts, employing qualitative, comparative, and intersectional approaches (Universities of Turin, Parma, and Ottawa). She has collaborated with international institutions including Sciences Po (Paris), Carleton University (Ottawa), and Uppsala University.
She is the author of the monograph Il cambiamento in-visibile (Rosenberg & Sellier, 2025), which was awarded the 2025 Costantino Nigra Prize for Anthropology and Ecology.
