De Vivo Carmela

Carmela De Vivo is a post-doctoral researcher at the CMCC Foundation. Her research activities are focused on climate risk assessment and the definition of adaptation strategies for critical infrastructures.

Graduated in environmental sciences, she obtained a PhD from the University of Naples “Parthenope”, where she developed a specific methodology to quantify climate risk in Mediterranean airports with application to specific case studies in the Italian context. She is also involved in several environmental education projects to raise awareness of climate change among students.
