Antonio Mariani is a Junior Research Associate at the Regional Ocean Forecasting Systems Division (ROFS) of CMCC. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Salento, with a thesis focused on parallel algorithms.

His core responsibilities include the design, implementation, and monitoring of the Mediterranean Forecasting System workflow and its related downstream applications. As a technical expert, Antonio supports the evolution and maintenance of the system, focusing on application improvements and test integration, while ensuring compliance with software development best practices.

Since 2023, he has served as Operational Manager of the Med-MFC system, overseeing its daily operations and overall performance.
