Margherita is a researcher at the RAAS division of CMCC in Venice. She holds a master degree in “Geohazards and Earth Observation” from Utrecht University (the Netherlands) and a research master in “Climate Change Science and Management” from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. She is currently enrolled in a PhD at Ca’ Foscari and CMCC. Margherita has been researching on remote sensing applications in the field of Disaster Risk Reduction from the hydrological perspective. She has previously worked in the humanitarian response sector, exploring the potential of earth observation techniques for both the preparedness and post-disaster phases. Over the past two years, she collaborated with the International Center for Agricultural Research in Dry Areas (ICARDA) based in Jordan on watershed management for agricultural purposes.
