TRAINING COURSE – Energy, Climate Change, and options for a Low-Carbon Economy

ABSTRACT
This is a thematic training course organised for a group of selected students from the University of Maryland. The course examines technical and policy options to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving adaptation to climate change.
Lectures by research scientists from the Euro-Mediterranean Centre on Climate Change Foundation (CMCC) are included in the course agenda.
The course is held in Berlin (week one) and Venice (week two).
The Venice lectures are jointly organized by the University of Maryland (UMD), the Euro-Mediterranean Centre on Climate Change Foundation (CMCC) and Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
