What we do

TESSA is a project that aims to develop skills of operational oceanography in Southern Italy and integrate them with advanced technological solutions in order to spread all the information about the conditions of the sea (waves, sea level, currents, temperature and salinity).
The project aims to develop products and progressive services for the naval transport security, tourism and the agencies of environmental protection.

CMCC and CNR-IAMC are two research centers involved in this project, they are experts of operational oceanography and they take part in the creation of an European service of Sea forecast for the Mediterranean Sea (in Southern Italy).
LINKS SpA
will collect all the abilities and will create some industrial products in order to spread data and services for a better Situational Sea Awarenes in some primary sectors of transport and environmental protection.
