Jingya Cheng is a postdoctoral researcher at the CMCC Foundation, within the Climate Variability and Prediction division. Her research focuses on climate dynamics, water isotope modelling, and paleoclimate data assimilation. She received her master’s degree from Fudan University and obtained her PhD from the University of Tokyo. She joined CMCC to work on the ERC EUROpest project and contribute to climate reconstructions over the Euro-Mediterranean region during the last millennium.
