Federico Covi is a Junior Associate Scientist in the Climate Variability and Prediction (CLIVAP) division of the Institute of Earth System Prediction (IESP) at CMCC. His research interests include atmosphere and cryosphere interactions, climate prediction and variability on decadal timescales, precipitation processes in high mountains, energy and mass balance of alpine glaciers and ice sheets, subsurface processes in seasonal snow and firn. He currently works on the operational production and maintainance of the decadal prediction system of CMCC.
