Francesco De Rovere is a Postdoctoral researcher at CMCC, specializing in the assessment of ocean extremes. His current work focuses on analyzing marine heatwaves through various model simulations and observational data. He earned his PhD in Polar Sciences from the University of Venice, with a thesis that investigated the Atlantification of Kongsfjorden, an Arctic fjord in the Svalbard archipelago.
