Giulia Galluccio is head of the CMCC Fund Raising office since 2007. Her main assignment is to build a strong cooperation among CMCC Research Divisions, CMCC international partners and researchers facilitating research proposals preparation.
Giulia got her Degree in Business Administration at Bocconi University and her PhD on Science and Management of Climate Change at Cà Foscari University of Venice with a thesis titled “The Role of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) in Scaling Up Financial Flows in the Post-Kyoto Regime”.
She started her professional experience as researcher at the Corporate Sustainable Management Research Unit at Fondazione ENI Enrico Mattei (FEEM), pursuing her interest in science and sustainable development.
She has been working in climate change issues since 1997. Following a 10 year experience in the climate change consultancy sector (as manager of Global Sustainability Services at KPMG) and in the development of the new born carbon markets (developer and manager of DNV Italian Climate Change Services) she got a strong expertise in the development and management of new projects at international level.
She directly coordinates and manages successful proposals, supporting the efficient and effective implementation of planned research activities and she pursues at CMCC her research interest on climate finance and project financing mechanisms.
