Luz Adriana Gómez is a Civil Engineer with a Master’s degree in Water Resources Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Since January 2024, she has been working in the “Adaptation Engineering” unit within the REMHI division of the ICR at CMCC Foundation.
Her research focuses on the potential impacts of climate change on extreme precipitation, temperature, and wind events, and their implications for urban infrastructure. Previously, she contributed to several consultancy and research projects in Medellín (Colombia) related to hydrology, climate change, forecasting, and numerical simulations. She has extensive experience in weather and climate data processing, visualization, and analysis.
