Matteo Mastropierro is a PostDoc researcher in Land Modelling at CMCC’s ESYDA Division, where he contributes to the RESCUE, CONCERTO, and CMUG projects. An environmental scientist with a strong quantitative background, he holds a PhD in Science and Management of Climate Change (2025) and brings interdisciplinary expertise from data science and environmental consultancy. His current research activities leverage earth system modeling and advanced statistical analysis techniques to explore terrestrial carbon cycle dynamics and land-atmosphere interactions.
