With a background in Physics (University of Milan, with his thesis work carried out at ADGB – Bologna under Prof. S. Tibaldi), he has over 20 years of experience at Arpa Piemonte, continuously expanding and deepening his expertise. His main fields of specialization include meteorology and air quality, and he was part of the meteorological service team for the 2006 Winter Olympics and Paralympics. He has worked extensively on modeling, focusing on operational needs and data processing, and was a key supporter of the parallelization project for the FARM Eulerian dispersion model, in collaboration with Arianet and the Cineca consortium. Additionally, he has expertise in managing data flows, developing procedures, and implementing systems. Besides his domain knowledge, he has also developed strong technical skills in operating systems, programming languages, and databases.
