Kick-off meeting

The FIREFLIES kick-off meeting will take place in Cartagena, Spain, from 3 to 5 June 2026 at Auditorio El Batel.
The Horizon Europe project FIREFLIES aims to identify pathways towards the sustainable alignment of economic interests and ecosystem restoration needs through a participatory process implemented across five demonstration regions.
CMCC will participate in the kick-off meeting, notably as lead beneficiary of WP2, Status of Farming Systems and Eco-schemes Restoration Potential, and Task 5.2, Restoration Needs and Specific Targets in the Context of the NRR. CMCC participants attending the meeting are Marta Debolini and Caterina Guidi.
