Venice Climate Week
3-8 June 2026 | Venice
More information

CMCC Foundation is a partner of the Venice Climate Week, taking place in Venice from 3 to 8 June 2026.
Conceived and curated by Riccardo Luna, Venice Climate Week is an international forum featuring a week of high-level dialogues and immersive experiences that bring together institutions, experts, and communities to reclaim leadership and accelerate systemic change.
Titled Planet Aqua, Planet Peace, the second edition delivers a clear and ambitious vision: reimagining the future of cities and the planet through the lens of water. No longer viewed solely as a symbol of crisis, water is presented as a defining infrastructure of the 21st century, a generative force to design with and a critical perspective through which to rethink urban systems, economies, governance models, and planetary resilience.
From coastal cities to food systems, from global governance to technological innovation, water emerges as a key to understanding the transformations shaping our time.
CMCC scientists will take part in the event to showcase cutting-edge climate research and policy insights, joining leading national and international experts in a city that embodies both heritage and resilience, at a time when the window for meaningful action is rapidly narrowing.
