Gazzotti Paolo

Paolo Gazzotti is a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the TCT Division of the CMCC Foundation. He holds a PhD in Management Engineering and Information Technology from Politecnico di Milano, where he specialized in multi-agent approaches and optimization for climate change negotiations.

His research examines how human decision-making and behavioral heterogeneity influence system outcomes, with specific applications to the water-food-energy nexus and Integrated Assessment Modeling. His work integrates Agent-Based Modeling with single and multi- objective cost-benefit analyses to decode complex socio-environmental interactions and evaluate the robustness of climate strategies. Currently, he is also involved in developing flood event scenario simulations to support the design of advanced early-warning systems and evidence-based policies for a sustainable and equitable future.
