Guariso Daniele

Daniele is a Junior Scientist at CMCC Foundation, within the AI/ML program. He is a political scientist by first degree and holds a PhD in economics from the University of Sussex.
His research interests span various topics across political science, development economics and political economy. He has worked on sustainable development, food policy, climate security, public financial management, trade and innovation, international aid, public health, political violence, and decision-making dynamics.

He has been a technical consultant for different research centers and international organizations, such as The International Growth Centre (IGC), The Institute of Development Studies (IDS), The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), The United Nations Development Program (UNDP), The Consultative Group for International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), The World Bank Group (WBG), and The United Nations University Institute in Macau (UNU-Macau).
Before joining CMCC, he was a Senior Research Associate at The Alan Turing Institute, the national institute for artificial intelligence and data science in the UK.
