In the framework of the cooperation agreement between the Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea (MATTM) and the Lazio Region, this project will contribute to the production of knowledge base for the development of the regional strategy of adaptation to climate change, in addition to the stakeholder consultation process for the identification of regional adaptation options.

General aims
In the framework of the elaboration of the regional strategy on adaptation to climate change, the objective is to provide technical assistance to the Lazio region on the production of knowledge base (e.g., regional climate analysis and vulnerability assessment), on the stakeholder consultation process for the identification of regional adaptation options and on awareness-raising activities.

Activities
Under this contract, CMCC will perform the following activities:
- Regional climate analysis and vulnerability assessment;
- Support to stakeholders’ public consultation and to the participative process for the identification of regional adaptation options through the organization of three focus groups.
- Support to awareness-raising activities on the critical role of adaptation to climate change for the sustainable development of the Lazio region through the organization of two webinars.
