General objectives
To Support SMAT addressing climate change with an analytical approach with reference to the managed infrastructure, starting from specific risk scenarios, and defining strategies for adaptation to climate change and risk reduction, according to the EU Taxonomy in relation to the goal of adaptation to climate change.

CMCC role
CMCC is involved in: i) analysis and assessment of climate hazards at the provincial scale; ii) definition of climatic hazard indexes according to the main atmospheric variables identified; iii) support in the definition of climate change adaptation and risk reduction strategies, according to the EU Taxonomy in relation to the goal of adaptation to climate change.

Activities
Activity A: Awareness raising and capacity building
1) Kick off meeting
2) Brain storming and exchange meetings
     3) Final Meeting and di conclusion of the activities 
Activity B: Definition of climatic hazard indexes

1. Identification of the climatic hazards to which the SMAT activities are mainly exposed
2. Evaluation of the climatic hazards of interest through the definition of about 20-25 different climatic indicators

Activity C: Conclusions and definition of final deliverables 

Expected results

• Release of a Dataclime user account to view and download the results of the climate hazard assessment
• Final report containing a methodological note with analysis and presentation of the results on the evaluation of the climate hazards referred to the infrastructure managed by SMAT
